Happy Christmas and a Better New Year!

On behalf of our chair, Vin Wynne, I would like to wish all our members and friends the compliments of the season. A big Thank You to our manager, Lynn, her staff and all others who have helped us pull through a very trying time.

Despite the current Covid outbreak, we go into a new year confident of completing our recovery in 2022. Our fundraising appeal has raised £20,000 and this has been matched by a generous grant of the same amount from the emigrant support programme.

Hopefully, you will all see noticeable improvement in our bar and entrance by St Patricks day.

You will see elsewhere, we have had to raise the membership fee's (£12 to join and £10 to renew). Please note, however, that the rate for seniors and those without regular employment remains unchanged. We hope to see all our 2,200 members continue to support us in the new year.

Together we look forward to our AGM and St Patrick's day in March and many brighter days in 2022.

Stay Safe and Stay Irish!

Tony Corcoran.

Secretary.
