Peterloo on Tyneside - film screening and discussion fundraiser

 We are proud to announce a screening of the film Peterloo to mark the 200 year anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre. A blight on our history and a timely reminder, as we head into a general election, of the need to unite to overturn the damage that years of austerity has caused to our city and our country.

Introduced by John Charlton, of the North East Labour History Society, sharing how the repercussions of the Peterloo Massacre were felt on Tyneside. For those who have the appetite, there will be the opportunity to discuss the film after.
