50/50 Draw for April 2021 £300, £85 and £45 prizes this month!

Míle Buíochas – A thousand thanks x 15 The members’ appeal we launched in January has to date raised over £15,000. This is in the form of £10 entries to the 50/50 draw, subscriptions of £60 and £100 to Friends of Tyneside Irish Centre and generous donations from individuals. This money is safely lodged in a separate bank account and will be used in conjunction with other funds we have accessed to give our centre a much- needed facelift. Tonight, we are making the first of our monthly draws. The names of winners will be generated by the random computer programme and will be overseen by our Finance Committee on Zoom and broadcast on Facebook and our website. NB. Those who have bought multiple tickets will have their names entered the corresponding number of times, so it is possible that one person could win more than one prize! The total of 50/50 cash at the deadline is £8,000 split between prizes and the development fund. The £4,000 is spread over 10 draws held on the 28 th of each month to December.
